1. Check for Google Wallet Updates

There are very high chances that Google pay app is not updated to latest available version. Go to the Google Play Store ->> Search Google Pay ->> Click on Update option if available to update to latest version and it would fix the Google Wallet not working issue on Samsung.

2. Validate the Phone Number

There could be reason that might be phone number into app is not the correct and creating the issue.

This could be either because recently you changed your number or might be because of typo error phone number has been added wrong at time of app registration.

Go to Google Pay App ->> Click on Name in top right corner ->> Click ‘Settings’ ->> Click on ‘Personal info’ ->> Verify the Phone number. if not correct, click on edit and change it.

3. Ensure Cards are Up to Date

Because of many reason there are chances that your Bank cards details are wrong into app.

Might be recently you have received the new card because of old card expiration and needs to update the new CVV/ Card validity information to existing card details.

To validate the cards information:

Go to Google Pay App ->> Click on ‘Insight’ button in bottom ->> Show all account ->> payment methods and see if any changes are required or cards information is already up to date.

4. Check Your Internet Connection

Make sure you have a reliable internet connection or high speed internet. You can have problems with the Google Wallet if the wifi network connection on your mobile device is slow.

So, verify the speed of your internet. Check your router if you’re using wifi or turn on and off your mobile data.

Additionally, try switching from wifi to mobile network or from mobile network to wifi to fix the issue.

5. Contact Card Issuer or Respective Bank

If you see any issue with added cards, if all information provided by you seems correct into Google wallet account, reach out to respective bank customer care or branch for quick resolution if there is any issue from their side.

6. Clear the Cache

The majority of the time, clearing the app cache will fix any problems with the Google Pay app.

So, Clear the cache in the Google Pay app to resolve the problem. To delete cache from theGoogle Pay App, follow the below steps:

Android Users: Go to settings >> Go to application manager >> Tap on Google Pay App >> Tap on clear cache. Google Pay App cache will be cleared.

iPhone Users: Go to iPhone settings >> Search Google Pay App and click >> tap on Offload button >> again reinstall the Google Pay app.

7. Verify Your Identity

8. Check if there is Gray Out Card

9. Reinstall Google Pay

Uninstall the Google Pay app, then reinstall it to resolve the problem. The Google Pay app can sometimes be uninstalled and reinstalled to fix the Google wallet problem.
